Hello, I am Hoang Son, a Business Administration student at Foreign Trade University in Hanoi, Vietnam, with expected graduation in 2027.
I have four years of experience in private tutoring and classroom teaching. I offer support in Finance, Business Management, Microeconomics and Macroeconomics for university students and high-school learners. I can teach in English or Vietnamese and help students connect English academic terminology with the underlying concepts.
My goal is to make demanding topics easier to understand and practise. I want students to see why a formula works, what a graph tells us, and how a theory relates to a real business or economic decision. We can use your course outline and learning priorities to plan lessons at an appropriate pace.
Lessons are online, with availability mainly in the evenings and at weekends, Vietnam time. My requested rate is USD 14 per hour.

Understand the logic behind finance and economics, then learn to apply it with confidence.
These online lessons are for university students and high-school learners who want clearer explanations, structured practice and a stronger foundation in Finance, Business Management, Microeconomics or Macroeconomics. Lessons can be delivered in English or Vietnamese, with English terminology explained when useful.
WHAT WE CAN WORK ON
• Finance: the time value of money, financial statements, investment appraisal, introductory valuation, and the relationship between risk and return.
• Microeconomics: supply and demand, elasticity, consumer and producer decisions, costs and market structures.
• Macroeconomics: GDP, inflation, unemployment, fiscal and monetary policy, and how economic changes affect businesses.
• Business Management: management fundamentals, business strategy, decision-making and case analysis.
WHAT YOU GET FROM EACH LESSON
We start with your syllabus, learning goal and the topics you find difficult. I explain the core idea in plain language, connect it to a practical example, and guide you through exercises step by step. You then practise explaining the reasoning yourself, so you can approach similar questions independently rather than memorising one solution.
Depending on your needs, we can focus on rebuilding foundations, preparing for a test, interpreting graphs and formulas, or developing a well-structured case analysis. The aim is to help you identify the right approach, justify your answer and recognise common mistakes. I can guide your understanding and review your reasoning; you remain responsible for your own assessed work.

Each lesson focuses on your syllabus, learning goals and areas of difficulty. We combine clear explanations, practical examples and guided exercises in Finance, Business Management, Microeconomics or Macroeconomics. The aim is to help you understand the reasoning, apply concepts independently and approach exams or case analyses with greater confidence.
Lesson packages:
