Về Thái
Hi! I'm Thai, a native Vietnamese speaker from Southern Vietnam, currently based in Can Tho City.
I help foreigners learn natural and practical Vietnamese that they can actually use in real life.
Whether you are living in Vietnam, planning to move here, travelling around the country, working with Vietnamese people, or communicating with Vietnamese friends, a partner, or family, I will design the lessons around your real needs and goals.
I have over 10 years of teaching experience and more than 3,000 hours of teaching experience with learners from different backgrounds, ages and levels. I also hold a Bachelor's Degree in English Studies and a Teaching Methodology Certificate.
What makes my lessons different?
I do not want you to spend months memorising Vietnamese that you rarely use. Instead, I focus on how Vietnamese is actually spoken and used in everyday situations.
Depending on your goals, we can work on everyday conversation, listening, pronunciation, tones, useful expressions, travel Vietnamese, Vietnamese for daily life, communication with Vietnamese family and friends, and Southern Vietnamese expressions and pronunciation.
I also help learners understand the cultural context behind the language. This means learning not only what to say, but also when and how to say it naturally.

My teaching style
My lessons are structured, practical and interactive.
Rather than simply giving you vocabulary lists, we use Vietnamese through conversations, guided practice, role plays and realistic situations.
When something is difficult, I can explain it clearly in English so you understand what to say, how to say it, and why Vietnamese speakers use it that way.
I also give special attention to pronunciation and tones, helping you build a strong foundation and speak more clearly and naturally.
After each lesson, you will know what you have learned, what you need to improve, and what you can practise next.
My goal
I do not just want you to study Vietnamese.
I want you to feel confident using Vietnamese with real people.

Learn Vietnamese for Real Life
Hello! I’m Thai, a Vietnamese native speaker based in Can Tho City, in Southern Vietnam.
I help foreigners learn natural and practical Vietnamese that they can actually use in real-life situations, rather than simply memorising textbook phrases.
Whether you are a complete beginner or an advanced learner, I will adapt the lessons to your level, goals and everyday needs.
What You’ll Learn
In our lessons, you can develop all four language skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing.
Listening: Understand natural Vietnamese and common expressions used in everyday conversations.
Speaking: Build confidence and communicate more naturally in real conversations.
Reading: Understand useful Vietnamese texts, signs, messages and everyday content.
Writing: Practise writing Vietnamese clearly and appropriately for different situations.
I also give special attention to pronunciation and tones, which are among the biggest challenges for many Vietnamese learners. I will guide you step by step and help you understand how Vietnamese is actually pronounced and used.

Our lessons can focus on situations that are relevant to your life, such as:
Travel in Vietnam: ordering food, shopping, asking for directions, checking into accommodation and communicating with local people.
Daily life: talking to neighbours, making appointments, using local services and handling everyday situations.
Vietnamese friends, partners and family: communicating more naturally with Vietnamese people who are important to you.
Work and business: communicating with Vietnamese colleagues, customers or business partners.
Study: developing the Vietnamese skills you need for studying and living in Vietnam.
Vietnamese culture: learning through real stories, customs and everyday situations so you can understand not only the language, but also the cultural context behind it.

My Teaching Approach
I have over 10 years of teaching experience and more than 3,000 hours of teaching experience, working with learners of different ages, backgrounds and levels.
